Google API Limited Use Disclosure

At Wandero, your Google data remains under your control. We request Google permissions only for the Workspace features you choose to connect, and use the resulting data only to provide user-facing Wandero features or complete actions you request.

Google Permissions We Request

Depending on the integration you connect, Wandero may request basic profile access plus these service-specific permissions:

  • Gmail: read messages, send messages, manage labels, and read or update basic Gmail settings such as signatures.
  • Google Calendar: read calendars and create, update, or delete calendar events when requested.
  • Google Drive: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive, which permits Wandero to view, download, create, edit, move, share, and technically delete any file in the connected Drive—not only files created by Wandero.

The Gold Standard Commitment

Wandero's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Use Your Data

We process Google data only to provide the connected feature or carry out a request you make in Wandero:

Gmail and Travel Workflows

We identify travel-related messages, build itinerary records, organize relevant threads, and let you read or send travel correspondence from Wandero.

Calendar Actions

We display calendar information and create, edit, or remove events only when you use a calendar feature or ask Wandero to perform that action.

Google Drive Actions

We search, open, download, create, edit, move, or share Drive files only to answer a Drive-related request. Permanent deletion and emptying Drive trash are blocked by Wandero. Moving a specific file to trash is allowed only when you explicitly request it.

Automated and AI Processing

Relevant Google content may be processed by Wandero's automated systems and contracted service providers, including AI model providers acting as processors, solely to deliver the feature or action you requested. It is not used to train generalized AI models.

Strict Prohibitions (Our "Never" List)

To protect your privacy, we have built-in "hard walls" around your Google data:

    No Advertising: We never use Google user data for ads, retargeting, or personalized marketing.

    No Selling: We do not sell your Google data to anyone. Period.
  • ✕
    No AI Training: We do not use Google Workspace data to train generalized AI models.

    Restricted Human Access: Wandero personnel may access Google data only with your affirmative permission for a specific support case, when necessary for security or abuse investigation, or when required by law.

Safety & Control

Encryption

OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and data is encrypted in transit. Drive files may be processed temporarily in an isolated Wandero sandbox. Copies you intentionally create or download into your Wandero workspace are retained under the main Privacy Policy until you delete them or your retention period ends.

You're in Control

You can disconnect an integration in Wandero or revoke the app through your Google Security Settings. Disconnecting removes Wandero's stored tokens for that connection and stops active Wandero sandboxes that could use Drive credentials. Deleting your Wandero account clears connected Google tokens, requests provider revocation, and terminates your active sandboxes.
