What Wandero does with Google Drive and Sheets
Rate sheets, contracts, forms, and reports often live in Drive. Wandero uses them as context and keeps the files it prepares connected to the work they support.

Connection and Google permissions
Google Drive connects through your Google account. Wandero requests basic profile information and only the permissions needed for the Google features you choose to connect.
- Drive scope
- Wandero requests the full Google Drive scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive). It permits viewing, downloading, creating, editing, moving, sharing, and technically deleting any file in the connected Drive, not only files Wandero created.
- Deletion limits
- Wandero blocks permanent deletion and emptying Drive trash. Moving a specific file to trash is allowed only when you explicitly request it.
- Google Sheets
- Wandero's published Google permission list names Gmail, Google Calendar, and the full Drive scope. Google Sheets is not listed as a separate permission.
- Sandboxed processing
- Drive files may be processed temporarily in an isolated Wandero sandbox. Copies you intentionally save in your Wandero workspace are retained under the Privacy Policy until you delete them or your retention period ends.
- Automated processing
- Relevant Google content may be processed by Wandero's automated systems and contracted service providers, including AI model providers acting as processors, only to deliver the feature or action you requested.
- What Wandero never does
- Google data is not used for advertising, sold, or used to train generalized AI models. Wandero personnel may access it only with your permission for a specific support case, for a security or abuse investigation, or when required by law.
- Encryption
- OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and data is encrypted in transit.
- Disconnecting
- Disconnecting removes Wandero's stored tokens for that connection and stops active Wandero sandboxes that could use Drive credentials. Deleting your Wandero account clears connected Google tokens, requests provider revocation, and terminates active sandboxes. Manage Google access (opens in a new tab)
Human approval for files and sharing
Drive actions run only for the work you ask for, and nothing is emailed or messaged without a person's approval.
- Wandero acts on Drive files only to answer a Drive-related request you make.
- Files are shared only when you request it, and any email or WhatsApp message that carries them waits for a person's approval.
- Approve, edit, or reject prepared work before it goes out.

Can Wandero delete files in my Google Drive?
The full Drive scope technically permits deletion, but Wandero blocks permanent deletion and emptying trash. It moves a specific file to trash only when you explicitly ask.
Can Wandero see every file in my Drive?
The full Drive scope permits access to any file in the connected Drive, not only files Wandero created. Wandero uses that access only to answer a Drive-related request you make.
Is Drive data used to train AI models?
No. Wandero's Limited Use Disclosure states that Google Workspace data is not used to train generalized AI models, is not used for advertising, and is not sold.
